The initial training we give our marketing assistants is open to the public. So if you are a virtual assistant or social media specialist, and you want to offer these services to your clients, we welcome you.
Why? Our goal is to create as many jobs as possible. If you're going to start a business or grow a business using our techniques, we love that. (Once our software is ready, we'll hope to sell you that too.)
The training takes one hour - it's a simple approach that you can learn in this online workshop.
You learn the following 3 projects:
-
Introductions - how to find prospects and referral partners for your clients on LinkedIn, and introduce your clients business to them.
-
Stay in touch - how to use blog posts from thought leaders to give your clients an active social media presence when they are too busy to post themselves.
-
Favors - how to do favors in social media for people your clients want to impress, and how to ask for favors in return in a way that helps your client build a stronger relationship with these people.
You also learn the following bonus project:
-
Competitors - how to monitor your client's competitors and let them know whenever they do anything your client would want to know about, and how to bring your client a steady stream of ideas from business like theirs.
Combined, these projects give your client a social media presence that bring in a steady stream of leads and potential business partners.
You get a framework for doing social media work that can be used for all of your clients - it's an approach that makes it simple for clients to get started, and makes working with you even easier than it is now.
It also gives you a solid number of billable hours every month, so you have a predictable stream of income that you can rely on.
What you get
You receive worksheets, templates and examples that you can use with your clients:
-
Client interview worksheet - so you ask clients the right questions and get the information you need to get started.
-
LinkedIn profile checklist - help your clients make their LinkedIn profiles as strong as possible.
-
Connection request examples - how to phrase connection requests so people are more likely to accept.
-
Follow-up email examples - how to phrase follow-up emails so people who are ready to engage with your client have a good reason to get started.
-

-

I keep hearing "Let's do some drip marketing!" and my reaction is "No. This is 2012, we don't drip anymore. We nurture." I think with the explosion of social media, nurture is key. There is so much that feels artificial about social media, but nurture brings balance; it brings more authenticity. Tracy Fitzpatrick |
Workshop Leader
The workshop will be led by Judy Schramm, CEO of ProResource. Judy has spent more than 15 years in marketing. She has run two marketing agencies, and worked with more than a hundred small businesses, helping to launch more than 150 products and services. Her experience covers almost every kind of marketing, advertising and public relations there is, both online and offline. Over the years, she noticed that one type of marketing worked more consistently than the others. It worked for businesses of any size. It didn't take a lot of time or money, and it was easy to do. That was nurture marketing. She decided to build a whole business around this one type of marketing - that business is ProResource. Read Judy's story.
